Monday 6th of July:
Thank you for checking out the site!
I thought I would write a bit more about my natural haircare journey and how/why I ended up making hair products!
So, the picture below is of my baby daughter Sophia which I actually took today!
She is 5 months old and has been my little guinea pig these last few months - bless her heart.
She was born with the softest little curls and I knew right away that I wanted to protect her crown and use only the purest of products on her delicate scalp. I personally struggled to find baby-friendly products that were pure enough to use on her so I decided to make my own.
Anyone that knows me personally, knows that I am all about that natural life, from cosmetic products - to food. I even make my own body cream (been doing so for years!)
So I thought to myself, hang on... why not just make a hair cream...
I sourced the most natural organic, cruelty free and vegan friendly ingredients and got to work!
I made my first official hair buttercream in May and when I was satisfied with the formula, I started to use it on myself and on baby Sophia (she was 3 months old at the time -in May)
I started to do the LCO method (Liquid, Cream & Oil) on her hair and on myself. I would spritz her hair with a natural water spritz formula that I made myself (It's packed with natural hair growth stimulants and I will be launching the spritz water very soon!) and then I applied my natural growth oil and hair buttercream (all my own products).
Within 8 weeks mine & Sophia's crown grew and blossomed (Just look at her fro!) I also noticed the difference in my hair texture - it started to become softer and curls became more defined (I have low porosity hair which basically means that my hair finds it very hard to absorb moisture) so the LCO method really helped.
